Verse of the Day

I have been looking at the current climate in the US. It is confusing that the church leaders are going along with these shenanigans.
The first church I attended was racially mixed. The only thing that gave me pause was the pastor saying black and white people should not get married.
My time line on social media is full of these church people who are either in agreement or complacent to the current administration.
Love does not work diligently to control an individual or a group of people. Love does not steal, kill, or destroy anyone for gain of respect, finances, or power. These are the work of bitterness, envy, and hate.
The saddest part of the situation is people really believe they are doing the work of the Lord. Controlling people through intimidation, legislation, and/or religion is wrong.
Christians have to tell people the truth about sin and witness to God's redeeming love.
God allows us to make choices. He says he draws us with love and kindness.
Think about these two questions.
Are we greater than God?
Do we really want to conserve hatred and division?
Thank you for reading!
