Young people graduating from highschool need to know all options for careers. I am all for education (college). However, college is not for everyone. Here are some options with little or no college is required.
Naval Architect - $70,000 to $120,000 per year - Design and oversee the construction of ships and other marine vessels.
Marine Engineer - $60,000 to $120,000 per year - Design, develop, and test engines, propulsion systems, and other mechanical equipment for ships.
Ship Fitter - $35,000 to $60,000 per year - Assemble and fit metal parts to build and repair ships.
Welder - $30,000 to $60,000 per year - Join metal parts together using heat and electricity to build and repair ships.
Electrician - $40,000 to $80,000 per year - Install and repair electrical systems and equipment on ships.
