Blessing From the Lord

So, here it is again almost time for 2 of sons birthdays are just around the corner. I have been thinking a lot about the scripture says all children are a blessing from the lord. Now it didn't say that everyday would be easy. It didn't say the children would do everything right. We are to train them in the way they should go and put the rest in the Lord's hands.

Each child is different. Love each one as he or she needs. Loving the child, teen, or young adult doesn't mean you agree with everything. Sometimes, it mean you have to allow them to fail. Just as God allows us to go so far and then bring us back to him.

Every year I find myself wondering am I giving them the skills they need to be a successful black man in this country. So I always come back to what the word says. All children are a blessing from the Lord. God has everything in control. Keep praying and believing.
